Will Arruda overthrows 'lost' HU to win SCOOP Even...

After a huge win in the Online Super Series, Will Arruda turned around a seemingly losing heads-up situation to win his first SCOOP 2024 title. In the cracked Event 26: $530 NL Hold’em (7-Max, DeepStacks), the pilot of the “hellzito” account won $43,380.

Will took down 10 BBs, while Chris “WATnlos” Rudolph took down 63 BBs. Starting with A?Q♥, he made an open shove and was called by the German holding Q♣6♣. The board 10♠5♦2♣J♣9♦ did not surprise the Brazilian and he doubled up.

On the same level, Will went all-in on a flop of 10♠J♥7♦. Rudolph called again. In the match of 9♣7♣ against K♠Q, the 4Bet team member had the advantage on both the turn 2♠ and the river 6.

Will was now on the heels of his opponent and soon took over the lead from then on. In the final hand, he made an open all-in shove and saw Rudolph call with A♥4. With A♠10♥, Will put his opponent on the defensive when the board reached 9♥5\9♣K♥3♣.

In the $109 Mid-Sized Event 26, the podium was full of green and remained yellow. The champion Cayo “Cayao_aju” Chagas received $36,269, while “giorgiopf1” (second place) and “CrushWhales” (third place) received $24,939 and $17,149 respectively.

While EPT Monte Carlo focuses on the Main Event and High Roller, the Mystery Bounty does not Behind, leaving a cinematic definition. Adrian State showed great character and won heads-up and a very tough match.

Buy for €3,000 The event was a success. Especially when you consider that the prize pool from 743 registered entries is €1,274,988, plus €743,000 in bonuses. The prize money is divided equally among the top 111 players in the tournament. The first prize is €232,898 plus bounty.

A treasure chest containing a mysterious bounty drawn by each player.

Of the 743 contestants, only 16 made it to the finals. All top prizes had been paid out the day before, so the competition was frozen. Of those 16 survivors, seven were eliminated within the first two hours of the game. This resulted in an early final table with a lot to talk about.

Champion Adrian finished third in chips at the final table. Although he eliminated Mohamed Mehlalg in sixth place, he didn’t reach the chip lead until the end of the game. In fact, State was at a significant disadvantage heading into the finals, with Jamie Flynn having twice as many chips.

Adrian couldn’t contain his excitement at the easy victory.

Before the heads-up match began, the players briefly discussed the possibility of an ICM trade, but Adrian wanted to stay in the game despite being at a disadvantage and was confident he could turn the tables.

Oh my god, did he make the right decision? He gave up after just one hand and fought hard for the victory, the Spades trophy and €232,898 in prize money, plus €45,000 in bonuses. Not only was it his biggest victory in a tournament of this size, it was also the biggest prize money of his career.
